About the event
Your vote matters. People with disabilities have the right to help choose the leaders who make decisions about transportation, health care, housing, jobs, education, and other services that affect daily life. In the past, many people with disabilities have faced barriers to voting, including inaccessible polling places, transportation challenges, and difficulty getting information in a format they could use. Today, there are laws and accommodations that help make voting more accessible. Join Idaho's three Centers for Independent Living—DAC-NW, LINC, and LIFE—for a free, nonpartisan virtual information session featuring speakers from the League of Women Voters of Idaho. Hosted in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Idaho and Disability Rights Idaho, this session is designed to help people with disabilities understand the voter registration process, learn about available accommodations, and feel confident participating in elections.
