  • Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, 10 AM – noon MDT

  • Held at Living Independence Network Corporation (LINC) Boise, ID

  • Facilitated by Stefanie Shadduck, Principal Investigator, Traumatic Brain Injury Program under the Institute of Rural Health in Idaho

This two-hour training equips participants with the knowledge and skills to quickly, easily, and effectively screen for traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).  They are often caused by falling or impact during sports.

If you work with the public, individuals or groups, or come into contact with anyone who could have suffered a TBI, you will be ready and able to use a simple screening tool to identify TBI and make appropriate referrals.

Everyone can be prepared, but especially:

  • Falls prevention supporters and advocates

  • Medical and Health practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, educators and students

  • Community-based organizations (senior centers, libraries, civic programs, churches, service groups etc.)

  • Sporting, outdoor, and physically active groups
