Empowering Independence

Southwest Idaho's Center for Independent Living

Independent living is the idea that people with disabilities are the best experts on our own needs. That we have a valuable perspective to contribute and deserve equal opportunity to decide how to live, work, and take part in our communities. Independent living means having the opportunity and resources to live the life of our choosing.

Our rural communities are some of what make Idaho such an amazing state to live. The people, culture, and landscape of Idaho's small towns are at the core of our State's values and economy. Many of these communities are also some of the hardest to serve. LINC is upping our outreach game and heading to hills to learn about our rural towns, the people that make them great, and what our Center can do to empower people with disabilities across the lifespan to live the life of their choosing!
