Frequently Asked Questions

1.       What services can I expect from the LINC / American Dream EN while employed?

·       Monthly, the EN will contact you to discuss any supports needed to keep your job (i.e., challenges on the job or barriers to keeping your job). LINC will also assist you with career advancement.

 

2.       I am concerned about my Social Security benefits and health insurance, and I do not understand the work incentives.

·       Certified benefits and work incentive practitioners from the EN, will give you individualized information to help you make wise decisions.

 

 

3.       What if my job is affecting my disability condition, can you help me?

·       The EN can help you identify and request a reasonable job accommodation.

 

4.       Can you help me if I want to work more hours or consider a job change?

·       Yes, the EN provides a wide range of employment and career services, as well as resources, to help you succeed.
